Who we are
www.luunlabs.com (the “site”) is operated by Luun Labs LLC (“Luun Labs”, “we”, “us”). Where privacy law uses the term, we are the controller of the personal information collected through the site.
Questions about this policy or about your information go to hello@luunlabs.com. We read and answer them ourselves.
Information we collect
We collect information when you use the site, contact us, or use something we provide through it. It may include the following.
What you send us
When you submit the project form or otherwise contact us, we collect what you choose to give us, such as your name, email address, phone number, company, website address, and details about your project. Enquiries sent through the form go to the Luun platform, a system we build and operate, where they are stored, and a copy is emailed to us.
How you found us
When you arrive at the site we may note limited information about how you reached it, such as the referring website, the page you landed on, and any campaign tags in the link you followed. This may be held temporarily in your browser and attached to an enquiry if you send one. It tells us which channels bring in work.
Communications
If you write to us by email or any other route, we may keep the message, your contact details, and the correspondence that follows.
Analytics and usage information
We use analytics tools, currently a self-hosted instance of Umami, to understand how the site is used. This may include pages viewed, referring sources, approximate location, browser and operating system, device characteristics, screen size, and timestamps. Our Umami configuration does not use tracking cookies or store raw IP addresses; it may derive short-lived anonymous identifiers from technical information in order to tell visits apart. We may change or replace our analytics tools over time for substantially similar purposes.
Technical and server information
When you access the site, our hosting provider (currently Vercel), other infrastructure or security services, and the systems behind the site may automatically receive information such as your IP address, browser details, the pages requested, timestamps, and diagnostic or security data. This is used to operate, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the site.
How we use it
We use the information above to:
- operate the site;
- respond to enquiries and correspondence;
- evaluate and discuss potential projects, and provide services you ask for;
- understand how the site is used and which channels bring enquiries;
- improve the site, our services, and the technology behind them;
- prevent abuse, fraud, security incidents, and technical problems;
- keep business and legal records, and comply with the law;
- protect our rights, our clients, and others.
Where the law requires a legal basis for processing, we rely on steps taken at your request before a contract, our legitimate interests in the purposes above, compliance with legal obligations, and consent where it is required.
How long we keep it
We keep information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes in this policy: replying to enquiries, providing services, keeping business records, resolving disputes, enforcing agreements, and meeting legal obligations. How long that is depends on the type of information, how it is used, and what the law or our operations require.
Referral details held in your browser are temporary. Analytics and technical information may be kept longer where it is aggregated or anonymized, or is useful for security, historical analysis, or improving the site.
Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live, privacy laws may give you rights over your personal information, such as to request access, correction, deletion, or a portable copy, to restrict or object to certain processing, or to withdraw consent.
To make a request, email hello@luunlabs.com. We may need to verify your identity first, and we will respond within the period the applicable law requires. We will not treat you differently for exercising your rights. If we deny a request and the law gives you a right to appeal, you can appeal by writing to the same address and saying that you are appealing our decision.
Where it is processed
We are based in the United States. Information may be processed or stored in the United States or in other countries where we or our service providers operate, and those countries may have privacy laws that differ from your own. Where the law requires safeguards for an international transfer, we or our providers rely on recognized mechanisms such as contractual protections.
Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration, or disclosure, and we keep what we hold to a minimum. No method of transmission or storage can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
Children
The site is for businesses and general audiences and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children where doing so would breach applicable law. If you believe a child has sent us something they should not have, email us and we will delete it.
Other sites and our products
The site links to sites, services, and platforms run by others, including our clients’ sites, our game studio, LinkedIn, and the App Store. We are not responsible for their privacy practices, content, or security; their own policies and terms apply once you leave. Our apps, games, and other products may have separate privacy policies that apply to those products; for example, Interval Habit Timer has its own privacy policy.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy to reflect changes in our practices, services, technology, or the law. The date at the top shows when it was last revised. Where the law requires it, we will give additional notice of material changes.
